Having previously undertaken works for this client in the past on their period property, we were contacted again to discuss potential options to convert the existing outbuilding / utility room to a more modern and usable space. Having shared ideas, Albert Gough Builders introduced the client to an Architect who finalised the design and specifications.
The existing space consisted of three small unusable rooms and WC, covered with a lightweight polycarbonate roof. The project included opening up of this space, insulating and plastering all walls and constructing an insulated tiled roof structure complete with Velux windows to allow ample light in to the room. The finishes installed were a fully tiled floor, feature lighting and installation of kitchen units and appliances with bespoke made seating to match with the kitchen style.
