The existing house consisted of a number of internal walls and small rooms to the ground floor, which required removing to provide an open plan living space consisting of kitchen, dining and lounge area, complete with new openings on to the rear gardens.  Significant structural works were undertaken to achieve the large open plan spaces and the project also involved the removal of an in-fill conservatory and the construction of new cavity walls and roof structure allowing the space to become part of the existing house.

The entire project consisted of structural works, brickwork, roofing, joinery, plastering and underfloor heating installation.

Following completion of the project Albert Gough Builders later undertook a full family bathroom refurbishment for the client.
