Following a formal tender process, managed by the client's Architect, Albert Gough Builders was appointed and trusted to undertake the intricate alteration works. The project involved altering the shape of the rear elevation of the lounge area to widen the opening and 'square-off' the walls to optimise the space.
Maintaining the structure above required carefully supporting the structure whilst steelwork was installed. Other trades undertaken was brickwork, joinery, plastering, rendering and roofing.
Albert Gough Builders were later also appointed to undertake alterations to the master bedroom to form a dressing room, to be finally fitted out by a leading national bespoke joinery company.
